Fairtrade Conference 1-2 October in India

During the first days of October, the first Fairtrade conference was held in Delhi, India, organized by Fairtrade India. More than 200 people attend this event from all segments in the society working with Fairtrade.

Fairtrade India has until now mainly focused on the producers but are now also including both consumers and brands in their work and communication. There is still a limited number of Fairtrade certified products in India, but the segment is growing day by day.

The overall knowledge on Fairtrade in India is still not that high, but the interest is gaining more and more interest from consumers, especially in the premium segment that can afford this kind of products.

We attended this evet to learn more about Fairtrade in India and present our range of Fairtrade teas that we will start selling during October on the Indian domestic market.
